Prohibited Substances and Methods: always in your surfing pocket

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has announced the release of a free iPhone app with the 2013 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods.

The Prohibited List is a cornerstone of the World Anti-Doping Code and a key component of harmonization. Competitive, professional, amateur and recreational surfer are invited to follow and spread these regulations.

The list is divided in Substances and Methods prohibited at all times, prohibited in competition and prohibited in particular sports.

Alcohol, beta-blockers, non-approved substances, anabolic agents, peptide hormones, beta-2 agonists, hormone and metabolic modulators, diuretics, stimulants, narcotics, cannabinoids and glucocortisteroids have been identified and banned from sports.

The 2013 List is valid from January 1 to December 31, 2013.
