Despite being considered one of the best female surfers in Brazil and the entire planet, and because she surfs "like a man," Lima didn't get full sponsorship until 2015.

This girl won eight Brazilian titles and finished two times second in the World Tour.

"I am not a model. I am not cute. I am a professional surfer. I could get breast implants, dye my hair, wear contact lenses to make my eyes blue, but it wouldn't be me."
