Morgan Maassen is one of the most admired filmmakers and photographers in the surfing world.

He started working in 2003 with an old Canon ZR80 camcorder, a computer, and Windows Movie Maker. Then, a few years later, Maassen discovered surf photography.

As time went by, his list of clients (surf industry companies, and pro surfers) grew, and he moved into the high-budget, HD productions.

Today, Morgan Maassen is happy with his life and decided to pay tribute to surfing.

"Growing," shot between 2003 and 2016, is his view on the progression of the sport, as he got on the path from good to great.
