It might sound like a bold statement, but Tel Aviv is more than the financial and technological heart of Israel.

It's a surf city, with fun point breaks, above-average beach breaks, and warm water.

Despite the multiple breakwaters that pop up every 100 yards or so, the third largest economic center in the Middle East pumps fantastic waves, and surfers abound.

And you don't even need a wetsuit.

Waves are constantly breaking all over the world, and if you're on a surf trip or family vacations it's always good to know you can rent a surfboard anywhere there's a gem to be ridden.
