Zoltan Torkos: kicking off a career in wakesurfing

Zoltan Torkos has pulled the first-ever kickflip in the history of wakesurfing.

He's a surfer, he's from Santa Cruz, and he's the only living wizard of the surfing world. You've probably heard of Zoltan Torkos by now.

The man who invented the "Darkslide" and the "Fingerflip Spongeboard Transfer" is always cooking something new, something that has never been done.

Torkos, a creative wave rider with Hungarian roots, decided to invade the wakeboarding arena to bring us the world's first kickflip in wakesurfing.

"The Magician" headed to the Vegas Water Sports, in Las Vegas, and pulled the innovative trick behind the Super Air Nautique G23 wave.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) approved surfing's qualification system for the Tokyo 2020.
