Harley Clifford: the trickster

Harley Clifford has stormed the final stop of the 2014 MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to claim the overall title.

The finals took place with thousands of fans on the shores of Millennium Park. The excellent wakeboarding conditions matched the competitive excitement. There were titles at stake.

With Clifford in the lead, the decisive runs saw Phil Soven putting down two incredible passes that included the switch nose-grabbed crow mobe 540, and nose-grabbed moby dick 540, finished with a wrapped nose-grabbed backside rodeo 540.

Shota Tezuka wanted more and showed a heelside frontside 900 followed by an almost flawless two passes. But Harley Clifford was on fire with his nose-grabbed mobe 540, tail-grabbed KGB and melon toeside frontside 900.

"I couldn't be more pumped with my results today! It was one of the coolest finals of the year, and it was so close between everyone. No one knew which way it would go," expressed Harley Clifford.
