The Georgia Wake Series (GWS) is a new five-stop tour that will kick off in Rome, Georgia, on the 14th May 2016.

The inaugural tour invites riders of all wakeboarding disciplines to a highly competitive, World Wakeboard Association-sanctioned state circuit.

The Georgia Wake Series will act as a training ground for regional, national, and professional events. In 2016, riders will earn more than $10,000 in prizes.

The first event of the season will take place in a private wakeboard lake in Rome. The GWS will then head to the towers and turf of the Terminus Wake Park for a spectacular cable riding showdown.

The third stop is at Albany's WakeFest, the largest grassroots charity tournament in the state. The GWS then travels to Lake Lanier Rowing Club, in Gainesville, before culminating in a grand finale, in Rome.

The Georgia Wake Series will feature premier tow boats and equipment, experienced judges, riding clinics, and instant online scoring. Wakeboarders will compete in the following classes: Junior Beginner, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert, Diva, and Open.
