King of Wake: extreme cable tricks

The King of Wake 2013 calendar has been announced with three new venues in North Carolina, California and Michigan.

The wakeboarding series will make eight stops throughout the USA, beginning in Orlando and wrapping up in Grand Rapids, from the 25th April to the 24th August.

The 2013 season will open with the Wake Games, a kickoff tradition for the series, opening every King of Wake year since 2007. Grand Rapids will mark the first time the King of Wake series has ever been held in this city.

Chris Parrish: wake style

William Asher, Harley Clifford and Freddy Krueger have tasted gold at the 35th Waterski and Wakeboard World Cup, held at Palembang City, Indonesia.

The finals produced some of the most competitive performances ever seen in Slalom, Jump and Wakeboard. Seven out of 24 countries captured the coveted World Cup titles to bring this season to a successful conclusion.

The Men's Slalom finals were unique. Britain's William Asher was third into the arena and his score of five buoys on 11.25m line took an early lead. The World Record Holder, Chris Parrish, was last to compete.

Wakeboarding: jumping for glory

The final stop of the Waterski & Wakeboard World Cup Series is hitting Palembang, in Indonesia.

The competition governed by the International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation (IWWF) will have five world champions on site battling for the titles and the World Cup cash prize.

Wakeboard, Waterski Jump and Slalom are the events scheduled for contest. The excellent flat water conditions, 32C temperatures and wonderful festival atmosphere will produce very impressive performances from both the waterskiers and wakeboard riders.
