Jose "Gollito" Estredo has conquered the 2016 PWA Freestyle World Tour title, in Germany.

The Venezuelan won the Mercedes-Benz Sylt PWA Grand Slam and secured the seventh world title of his career (2016, 2014, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2006, and 2005).

Amado Vrieswijk was leading the rankings, and Estredo knew what he had to beat his rival twice to raise, once again, the windsurfing trophy. And that's precisely what he did.

In the final "Gollito" landed an incredible air chachoo and a clean back loop. In the super final, Jose Estredo delivered another superb performance and edged out his opponent.

"Last night, I didn't really think that I'd be world champion today, but I just went to bed early and just thought 'let's see what happens.' To have won my seventh world title is amazing. I can't believe it," said Estredo.
