Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, USA

A windsurfer lost his life off San Francisco's Crissy Field, the U.S. Coast Guard has informed.

The body was recovered with no vital signs, about two-and-a-half miles west of the Golden Gate Bridge, after a Coast Guard helicopter spotted a man wearing a wetsuit in the water.

Two hours before, a pedestrian walking on the Golden Gate Bridge reported a windsurf board and a sail in the water.

That was when the U.S. Coast Guard launched both helicopter and boat for the search and rescued.
