Nicolas Schreier

One race in the last day completed the 2009 South American FE Championship. With the wind barely on the minimum the last race demanded extremely concentration and energy from the start to the finish.

Nicolas Schreier, from Peru, won another one and he's the new South American FE Champion Open, accumulating also the title on Senior and Light Weight divisions.

Marcello Morrone, BRA 3, was the second today and confirmed the 2nd place Open, together with the Masters and Heavyweight divisions.

With a great performance in light winds, Sebastian Aguirre, under 17 division, finished the last race in the 4th place and ratified his continental title.

Another highlight on the course today was Bruna Martinelli. Bruna took the Women's division title finishing the last race at an excellent 6th place overall.

The big and strong Peruvian fleet will receive the south americans sailors for the 2010 continental championship to be held in August at Paracas.
