Paul Zeper: bumpy road ahead

Nineteen year old Paul Zeper (Hot Sails Maui, F2, DaKine) has just landed himself some new gear from F2, and will be starting the 2010 season riding their freestyle board, the Rodeo.

Zeper commented:

"After trying Steven Van Broeckhoven's (F2, Gaastra) Rodeo 98 in Brazil, I didn't want to use anything else. I was hooked on the board from the word go. I'm off to Bonaire soon where i'll use the 107L Rodeo prototype, and then when I get back to Holland, there should be a 98 waiting for me!"

Zeper is one of the latest breed of young freestylers to join the tour. Having only competed nationally before attending his first event in Sylt late last year, he's sure to make his mark this year.

You'll find some good footage from his winter training in Jericoacoara and some more videos of the moves he's likely to be pulling off during his heats.

Good luck with the rest of your training Paul. We look forward to seeing you in action!
