João Rodrigues: experience talks higher

João Rodrigues and Charline Picon have conquered the RS:X Skandia for Gold 2010 Regatta, held in Weymouth, UK.

"The training I had here in the last three months was decisive. I had the opportunity to test the local conditions and many friends helped me evolve my speed problems”, said Rodrigues, the Portuguese sailor.

Joao Rodrigues and Dorian Van Rijsselberge sailed on the favored side of the race track, despite Nick Dempsey's hard fought battle to reach the gold medal.

Weymouth is the chosen venue for the sailing competitions of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
