John Kenny: the Irish bullet

John Kenny, current Irish National Speed champion, has tragically passed away this week.

The Irish Speed Windsurfing record holder was also a SUP passionate and a true sportsman. In the last year, Kenny smashed the Irish speed sailing record hitting speeds of over 45 knots/84 kmh on his Starboard iSonics speed special W49 and Severne Code Red 5.9.

JK was also long standing member of the International Windsurfing Association.
