Gulf of Trieste: large enough for windsurfing

The Gulf of Trieste has spectacular conditions for windsurfing. The shallow bay of the Adriatic Sea has a sea current that flows counterclockwise.

The 2011 Fanatic Speed Contest Italy, brought by Barcoletta, is an invitation to all speed windsurfing fans. Whether you own slalom sails, a freestyle windsurf board or a wave set, the organizations promises fun times.

All Italian and international windsurfers may compete in the 2011 Fanatic Speed Contest Italy. The main goal is to find the fastest windsurfer in the Gulf of Trieste.

The competition is free and open to all windsurfing skills and ages. The records gathered by the GPS devices must be submitted directly on the website.

The 2011 Fanatic Speed Contest Italy runs from 26th March to 16th October 2011. Who will be the fastest this year?
