Calema Midwinters: strange windsurfing styles displayed

The 26th Calema Midwinters Windsurfing Festival will include the 2012 Techno 293 North Americans Championships and will be contested between March 1st-4th 2012.

The event will be based at Calema Windsurfing and Watersports, in Kelly Park, Merritt Island, USA. The wind conditions may range from 5-to-25 knots and the water temperatures are expected to reach 21ºC.

The Midwinters Festival will continue its tradition of bringing together World Cup pros, Olympic Class competitors, beginner sailors and all other levels in between.

The 2012 Calema Midwinters Windsurfing Festival includes racing in Formula, Kona, Techno, RSX, Longboard, and sport fleets.

The Techno North Americans sailors from any nation may enter the event, however, only sailors eligible to compete for North American and Caribbean nation (including Mexico) are able to win the North American Title. ISAF Nationality Criteria apply.

The same applies to the Kona Nationals.
