Red Bull Big Days

After two months of waiting the Red Bull Big Days finally started on November 20th in Weißenhaus Germany.

A mixture of cold 8 degrees air temperature, rain, hail and gusts up to 40 knots demands the full concentration of all 45 participants in a spectacular wave event.

15-year-old Philip Köster convinced with awesome moves and took first place. Local guys Lars Gobisch and Matze Bade got 2nd and 3rd on the podium.

Our young teammate Holger Beer also performed well and finished 9th place.

Holger was sailing the 4,5 Legend of 2009 and was surprised about the handling in really difficult conditions so that he could try table top front loops easily and smacked some nice wave rides.

Next year Holger looks forward to compete the German Tour and hopes to show solid performances in his favorite discipline wave/freestyle.
