Go Pro with Colin and Marco: useful windsurf coaching tips

Colin Dixon and Marco Wedele are putting the finishing touches in the upcoming "Go Pro with Colin and Marco", a windsurfing instructional DVD that aims to help all windsurfers complete their tricks and moves.

"For the viewer it is easier to break down each move, visualizing each one from different angles and therefore helping you to achieve your goals quicker than any other coaching DVD", explains Colin Dixon.

The professional windsurfing instructors are editing the windsurf coaching DVD, at the Film Production Technology center, in the Staffordshire University. Watch the trailer.

The team spent hundred of hours filming in the water or simulator, using good and useful examples that may explain how to solve windsurfers' doubts. There are personal explanations, GoPro footage and wide camera angles.

The "Go Pro with Colin and Marco" DVD will be covering several windsurfing features. downwind techniques (Bearaway, Carve Gybe, Duck Gybe, Lay Down Gybe, Downwind 360, Backwind Gybe), upwind techniques (Fast Tack, Heli Tack, Upwind 360, Duck Tack, Push Tack) and freestyle tricks (Chop Hop, Popping, Vulcan, Spock, Grubby, Flaka, Forward Loop).

Colin Dixon and Marco Wedele prepared windsurf theory lessons and there are also equipment setup and tuning tips for better sailing performances.
