Aruba Hi-Winds: kids love windsurfing for prizes

The South Caribbean is gearing up in full swing for the Aruba Hi-Winds 2012, to be sailed from 3rd-9th July. Two new organizers from Holland have joined the crew: Ivar van Luyk and Reinier Middel.

The 26th anual edition of the Aruba Hi-Winds will be bigger than ever. There will be a week full of surf disciplines like the usual Slalom, Long Distance and Freestyle competitions.

Also, several artists and DJ's have been invited to pump the party. The kitesurfing competition features a Freestyle contest and Long Distance Races, too.

In the windsurfing event, there will be several divisions: Pro/Open, Women, Masters, Grand Masters, Juniors, Sports, Big Kids, Super Kids and New Kids.

This year, the Aruba Hi-Winds will be dishing out loads of cool product and money prizes. All participants will get a fun-packed goodie-bag and there are various cool watersports products to be won, depending on which category you compete.

Aruba is one of the four constituent countries that form the Kingdom of the Netherlands, together with the Netherlands, Curaçao and Sint Maarten, whose citizens share a single nationality: Dutch citizenship.
