Levi Siver: he lives in the blue skies

Levi Siver is the winner of the 2012 Pistol River Wave Bash, in Southern Oregon. After two days without proper weather conditions for pro windsurfing stunts, head judge Matt Pritchard sounded the trumpet and sailors hit the waves.

Morgan Noireaux put out a great show. He stormed the Youth division and secured a very important bronze medal in the Pro category. Noireaux was one of the best windsurfers at the 2012 Pistol River Wave Bash, indeed.

One day before the grand final, the ladies showed up to discuss who's got nerves of steel. The battles were very tight. Fiona Wylde and Sam Bittner had to untie their points in a all-or-nothing game, with Wylde defeating Bittne by a narrow margin. Ingrid Larouche took gold in the Women's division.

In the last day of waves, Bernd Roediger wanted to make a statement and defeated Morgan Noireaux to meet Levi Siver in the decisive heat. Clever rides, huges aerial moves and a perfect Wave 360 gave Siver the highest honour.

Morgan's Goiter was uncompleted and Levi was crowned the best windsurfer of the 2012 Pistol River Wave Bash. Graham Ezzy won the Expression Session with a breathtaking Upwind 360. Done and dusted.

It was the year of the first soft landing on the Moon. In 1966, "Peanuts" went surfing. And skateboarding. Or at least, they tried to ride a few waves through mind surfing.
