Titan GS: redesigned to be fast

MauiSails has completely redesigned the Titan GS sail range for better high-end speed and control, while maintaining strong low-end acceleration.

Available from 6 to 11 sizes, the new Titan GS sails show an increased use of X-Ply materials and a sleeve design which drains water quickly.

Sleeve and tack area are protected from damage by a lightweight covering and the deep cutout is perfect for easily attaching the boom, especially when using the MauiSails custom carbon front end design.

"Over the past seasons we had requests from a number of our customers to trickle down some more of that TR pedigree to the Titan-GS freerace line", explain sail designers Barry Spanier or Artur Szpunar.

"We decided to maintain a 7 batten and a 2-3 cam layout for light weight but redid the outlines based on a low aspect ratio and recessed clew similar to TR-9".

The 2013 Titan-GS is the ideal sail for easy Freerace sailing, with manageable power and competition speed.
