American Windsurfing Tour: the power cutback

The 2013 American Windsurfing Tour schedule has been announced. The windsurfers will kick-off the new season in Santa Cruz, California, from May 30th.

The best wave sailors in the world are ready to take on the 2013 American Windsurfing Tour. From California to Hawaii, the competition will visit the most windy spots of the American continent.

The Santa Cruz Goya Windsurfing Festival will hit California, between May 30th and June 6th. Then the AWT moves to Oregon for the Pistol River Wave Bash, between June 18th-23rd.

Windsurfers will also travel to Washington, Mexico, Peru and North Carolina. The last and decisive stage is the Maui Makani Classic, in Hawaii, and will be sailed between October 24th and November 6th.

Camille Juban (Pro Men), Ingrid Larouche (Women), Chris Freeman (Amateur), Brian Caserio (Masters), Joe Ray (Grand Masters) and Casey Rehrer (Youth) will be defending their 2012 American Windsurfing Tour titles.
