Killian du Couedic and Astrid Muldoon have conquered the Oléron Wave Classic, at La Perroche, in France.

Wave windsurfers from several regions of France competed in 12-minute heats. There were 36 male and eight female riders competing.

In the final, Killian du Couedic managed to beat Vincent Caro, Régis Bouron and Benoit Davinat. Caro opened with a one-handed backloop, but Killian answered with a big backloop and good rides in the wave faces.

The Franco-German sailor Astrid Muldoon defeated Nathalie Cottard, Fanny Bouley, and Marie Gicquel, in the competitive Women's division.

"We have had great conditions. Wind and waves have been present, in all conditions, on three different beaches, side-shore, side-onshore, starboard tack and port tack", explains Muldoon.
