Philip Köster: he lives in the atmosphere

Philip Köster has signed with Severne Sails. He spent five years with NeilPryde.

The German wave windsurfing master has been announced in the Severne Sails international team. Köster, 19, two-time PWA Wave World Tour champion, is already testing new gear in Western Australia.

"We're stoked Philip Köster is signing up for the Severne team for 2014. Philip has redefined modern windsurfing and we're really looking forward to what he’s going to be able to do with lighter, better gear. The future is looking red hot", the company tells.

Philip Köster will meet Scott McKercher, Jaeger Stone, Boujmaa Guillol, Daida Moreno, and Iballa Moreno in the Severne wave team. Moritz Mauch also enters the group.

"I am still only 19 years old, I'd like to make other experiences as well, trying more stuff out and start developing sails. The new sails are powerful and super light so it will be interesting where they are going to take me", says Philip Köster.
