Antoine Questel: first winner of 2014

Antoine Questel has taken out the Saint Barth Fun Cup 2014, in the Caribbean waters of Saint Barthelemy.

The third edition of the long distance and slalom races was run in three days graced with consistent winds, good weather and friendly competition.

After six races in two days, windsurfers returned to the water for an additional two heats on the last day of the Saint Barth Fun Cup 2014.

In the first race of the day, Pierre Mortefon took a solid lead, jibing alone at the first mark but Antoine Questel overtook him shortly after, showing who's the boss in Saint Barth.

Björn Dunkerbeck completed the podium for the first race with Taty Frans in fourth and Alexandre Cousin in fifth.

In the last race, Pierre Mortefon's crash on the starting line allowed Antoine Questel to take the lead, followed by Alexandre Cousin and Taty Frans.

Thanks to Pierre Mortefon's crash, Alexandre Cousin finished the event in third place, with a very fast Taty Frans in second and local Antoine Questel claiming the win for this first event of the 2014 season.

In the Women, Delphine Cousin takes first. Edson Genipa wins in the Amateur division; Jean-Marc Peyronet in the Grand Masters and Lucas Dargent takes it in the Youth category.
