Freestyle windsurfing: some say it's easy

New Zealand's young windsurfing guns have been invited to compete in the Mad Loop Junior Freestyle Competition, to be held at Lake Pupuke, Auckland, on the 26th February 2011.

The helitacks, 360s, sail flips and many other crazy moves will be judged by the National Freestyle champion Thomas Davies.

The average windspeed for Auckland, in February, is of 11 knots, with a 48% probability of good wind and an average air temperature of 22 degrees.

The IFCA championship rule #6.1 will be applied and participants shall be under the age of seventeen at the time of competition.
