National Windsurfing Festival: the highway is congested

More than 340 windsurfers descended on Beachlands, Hayling, for the famous National Windsurfing Festival 2010.

This is the largest windsurfing event in the UK and attracted thousands of spectators. Morocco's Boujmaa Guilloul attended this windsurfing classic.

The weather conditions were very good and everyone had a good sailing time in an event where the youngest sailor is eight-years-old and the oldest is in his 70's.

Hayling Island is an island off the south coast of England

Some say Peter Chilvers is responsible for bringing windsurfing to the British island, back in 1958.
