Guy Cribb: the British Laird Hamilton

British windsurfer Guy Cribb has set a new record with the most watersports practiced in 24 hours.

Cribb completed 21 sports, along the 10-mile coastline from Bournemouth to Poole, in the longest day of the year, last Monday.

The 13-times UK champion tested sea kayaking, kite surfing, stand-up paddle-boarding, bodyboarding, windsurfing, water-skiing, jet-skiing, sailing and skimboarding.

Guy Cribb, 40 year-old waterman, ended this challenge absolutely tired. He was the first windsurfer to across the English Channel, in 2008, from Cherbourg to Poole.

The new record was supported by the Tourism authorities. The idea is to promote watersports that can be tried between Bournemouth and Poole.
