Jason Polakow: testing the limits of windsurfing

Jason Polakow keeps pushing the extreme frontiers of windsurfing. This time, the fearless waterman decided to check out for himself the quality of the world's most dangerous surf spots.

The Australian started his swell check by surfing an insane day at Teahupoo, in Tahiti. Despite being known for his windsurfing skills, Polakow rode waves like a true surf pro.

Then, it was time to get the sail out in the water. Showtime for Jason. The windsurfer headed to Fiji in search of the famous Cloudbreak. "I was not expecting to get any wind but on the peak of the swell the wind hit and I was able to sail all afternoon in 12-to-15 foot surf", he explains.

"The wind was super light but the wave is so amazing it was like surfing without a sail. All the top pro surfers were there but I was the only windsurfer there", adds Polakow.

The footage is amazing. Watch Jason Polakow surfing, windsurfing and delivering high level performances in giant ocean swell. Meanwhile, the experienced rider is preparing a very special video podcast. "A Day in the Life of Jason Polakow" promises lots of action and will be available very soon.
