Jason Polakow: do not try this at home

Fear is not part of Jason Polakow's dictionary. Only a very experienced windsurfer would take on a massive wave that is Jaws, in this particular conditions and his sponsors have reasons to be proud.

Polakow has released a breathless trailer of his upcoming movie about big wave windsurfing. The 15th March will be a day to remember, that's for sure.

Jason Polakow is not new at the infamous peak of Jaws. In 2010, the PWA world champion escaped a brutal wipe out in the Hawaiian heavy fire. "I don’t understand how I'm still alive," he said at the time. "I saw myself dying".

Polakow survived and prepared his revenge, despite the respect for Mother Nature. The big wave hunter had already seen the afterlife in Teahupoo, Pier 1 and Papatowai, but JP always means challenge.

The extreme windsurfer starred in "The Windsurfing Movie", directed by award-winning cinematographer Johnny DeCesare and has always been linked with the most difficult and gnarly waves in the world.

Jason Polakow is the founder of the JP Australia windsurf boards and gear. The full length "Jaws" movie will be out in June 2011.
