Karavi gets the 3S Wind Blast 2010 long distance races

3S Wind Blast: windsurfer in a hurry

For the fourth year in the row, the 1st event of the 3S Wind Blast 2010 will be staged at the windsurfing spot of Karavi, at the Marathon-Schinias area of the Attica region in Greece.

The Karavi windsurfing club and spot is situated close by the world known Marathon start stadium.

This year the Wind Blast will be one of the “1st World Windsurfing Week” events.

The 3S Wind Blast is a series of 4 windsurfing long distance events at 4 different windsurfing spots around Greece. Last year the event was won by the Italian racer Marco Bengali while the whole series attracted more than 350 competitors.

There will be categories for all age, besides the participating classes: Slalom, Raceboard (longboard & hybrid), RS:X, Young Blood (under 11 years old) and New @ windsurfing (over 11 years old).

Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 riders in each category/class.

Every year we were blessed with wind, but in case there is no wind, then we are going to enjoy light wind windsurfing with fun flag races and one deign match racing battles.

All the participants will receive the official 3SWB10 t-shirt and hundreds of presents offered from the sponsors and supporters.
