Marc Paré Rico and Lina Erpenstein have been crowned 2019 IFCA Wave European champions, at Hanstholm Fish Factory, in Cold Hawaii, Denmark.
The International Funboard Class Association (IFCA) ran completed double eliminations in all division in highly contestable winds and six-foot waves.
The organization moved the competition area further upwind, which proved to be a smart decision given the conditions on offer at the Danish coastline.
Paré Rico, who had already won the single-elimination, put on a clinic performance by unleashing all his wave riding skills and landing a huge stalled forward loop.
"I am thrilled with this result and even happier to share the podium with one of my best friends, Julian Salmonn," said Marc Rico.
"I've been training a lot with him in the past five years, and it feels amazing to see that all the hard work is paying off."
In the women's competition, Erpenstein held on to her nerves and successfully defended her position against experienced windsurfer, Uli Hölzl.
Lina performed a flawless rotated back loop and always got better scores from using every section of the waves.
"I loved the experience at Cold Hawaii. It was cool to be part of a competition at one of my favorite spots in the world. Let's hope it's the first of many," concluded Erpenstein.
Simon Thule Kristensen and Anton Richter have also been crowned IFCA youth and junior European champions, respectively.
