Multiclass windsurfing event invades Singapore

Singapore: strong winds and warm waters

Windsurfers from RS:X, Techno 293, Raceboard and IFCA Slalom classes will battle at the 32nd Singapore Open Windsurfing Championship, from 16th to 20th January.

The biggest windsurfing event in the region will be attracting more than 130 local and foreign competitors from all over Asia and the world.

The National Service Resort and Country Club Sea Sports Centre, in Singapore, will also crown the Asian Men and Women's champions in Formula Windsurfing and RS:One.

The multiclass competition expects North to Northeast winds, blowing between 6-to-25 knots, in warm waters.

Classes shall race a maximum of four races per day, in a maximum of 12 race series for RS:X, Techno 293 and Raceboard, and a maximum of eight race series for IFCA Slalom.
