Neil Pryde Surf Challenge: radical photo angle

The 2011 NeilPryde Surf Challenge has been locked from 2nd to 4th June, in Pelzerhaken, Germany. All windsurfers are invited to run a simple slalom race around two buoys, just like former one hour races of the 90's.

There are almost no rules and races will be contested in five categories. The winner will get a new NeilPryde 7.8 RS:Slalom MK IV.

The main goal of the competition is to get as much rounds as possible during a 60-minute period. In case of strong winds the regatta crew can decide to have a different time span of 30 minutes, for example. The race course is a simple figure 8 slalom.

Professional windsurfer Bernd Flessner will held a clinic in which he will teach and share tips and personal experience. Expect to learn more about equipment tuning and start/jibe techniques.

Anders Bringdal will also attend the 2011 NeilPryde Surf Challenge. The windsurf legend will tell the story of the past and the future of Mistral, a mythic brand started in 1976.
