It's all over. After a long and intense season, the world's best windsurfers have concluded another year of competition.

Antoine Albeau and Delphine Cousin (Slalom), Jose Estredo and Sarah-Quita Offringa (Freestyle), Victor Fernandez and Iballa Moreno (Wave), and Gonzalo Hoevel (Foil) have been crowned 2018 PWA World Tour champions.

In the slalom division, Albeau secured his 25th world title on the last day of competition in Sylt, Germany. The French windsurfer also finished third in the foil and has no plans to stop.

"Twenty-five world titles: they're all special, and they all carry a great battle in the water. Every year, my motivation and enthusiasm are renewed to get on this podium. Bring on next season!" expressed Antoine Albeau.

In the freestyle competition, "Gollito" Estredo added the ninth world title to his trophy room. The windsurfer from Venezuela sealed the deal in a super final sail-off.

"Thanks, God. This is a very important day for me and my for family, but also for Venezuela and all the people who surround me with their good vibes. Work and dedication bring results," said Estredo.

In the wave sailing division, Victor Fernandez had to wait on the beach and wait for Thomas Traversa to beat Ricardo Campello, before opening the champagne bottle.

Despite the agonizing wait, the Spanish sailor ended up conquering the third world title of his career.

"I am happy to win my third PWA World Tour title in Germany, and to share this podium with Ricardo and Philip Koster," noted Fernandez.

Finally, in the newly-added foil discipline, Gonzalo Costa Hoevel sailed above his opponents and claimed the world title.

"I'm stoked to win the first ever official PWA Foil world title. I feel amazing. Although it wasn't my best week in Sylt, I managed to perform well over the year," concluded Hoevel.
