WindTech's adjustable tail rocker: incredible releases, and loose drive

WindTech has announced the creation of an adjustable tail rocker for windsurfing boards.

The company founded by Neil Scheltema in the 1980s released a video showing a few close-ups of the new system.

The concept of a tunable tail rocker is not new. Mistral was one of the first windsurfing manufacturers to develop and market an interchangeable flex tail.

Nearly four decades ago, they bought the concept patented by Mike Tinkler and added it in their "Challenge Flex" windsurf boards.

However, with Scheltema's shaping knowledge and experience, the new model promises fast rockers, incredible releases, and loose drive. Let's not forget that the shaper worked for many brands, including Mistral.

The adjustable tail rocker by Neil Scheltema will be available in wave and slalom windsurf boards.
