The Polish windsurfing armada stormed the 48th Trofeo Princesa Sofia, held in Palma, Spain.

The finals of the prestigious sailing event got underway in challenging 25 knots of Mistral offshore winds. The RS:X division introduced a sudden death medal race format

Zofia Noceti-Klepacka will never forget April 1st, 2017, the day she was crowned the overall winner of the competition. The Polish windsurfer never placed worse than fifth in the 12 races.

"I am so happy to win the overall trophy. I have been here 15 or 16 times maybe and usually finish in the top three, but this is the first time I have won the class and to win the trophy is fantastic. This is the first regatta I have done this year and so to win is great," expressed Noceti-Klepacka.

On the Men's side, Tarnowski was able to steal the win from a local windsurfer - Ivan Pastor Lafuente - making it a double victory for the Polish flag.
