Under a bright tropical sun, a gentle breeze and the beauty of the almond trees, young surfers from across the country (Santo Domingo, Boca Chica, Nizao, Rio San Juan, Cabarete, Sosua, and Bahoruco) showcased their talent in the strong waves of the Atlantic Ocean at Playa Encuentro in Cabarete, in the province of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
