When a young boy of only 6 years old starts windsurfing, there's a big chance of having a world champion a few years after.
The Surf Center Arte Vida in Tarifa and NorthSails Spain have worked together with Xavier Mandico, a blind sportsman who has developed a program for blind windsurfers.
Starboard's first foray into pure light-wind windsurfing started in 2005 with the release of the Serenity. The Tiree Wave Classic is now in its 24th year and remains the most impressive Wave event in the UK Calendar. Competitors from all over the UK will be battling against each other in the harshest conditions the UK has to offer, to win the 'Tiree Wave Classic' title. Furthermore, all sailors will be fighting hard to improve their chances of winning the coveted BWA UK Wave Championship.
