The Association of Professional Bodyboarders (APB) launched the APB Tour mobile app for iOS and Android.

The new platform for smartphones and tablets will allow fans to follow all the 2017 APB Tour action. The app features information about the circuit, athletes, and will broadcast the official contests live.

The APB is looking forward to boosting the number of people engaged with bodyboarding and increase the visibility of the sport, so that more sponsors get into the lineup.

"We are super stoked to be able to release a user-friendly app to the world that will deliver great content and media to our bodyboarding community. It has taken time to develop this app, but we wanted to make sure it was on-point when we released it," explains Alex Leon, CEO at APB.

The new APB Tour for iOS also includes athlete profiles, calendars, a photo gallery, updated rankings, alerts and messages from the tour, and bodyboarding news powered by SurferToday.

The APB wants the official website, the newly-launched apbtour.tv, and the mobile app to cooperate with each other to bring quality content to all bodyboarding fans.
