Lachlan Cramsie: finding barrels in two-foot waves

Lachlan Cramsie conquered the 2017 Mystics Pro, at The Wedge, in New South Wales.

It's harder to surf small waves than in stellar conditions. And that is why only the best riders advance and prevail when all there's left to ride are two-footers.

The third stop on the 2017 ABA Tour was held in conjunction with the HIF NSW Bodyboard State Titles, an event sanctioned by Surfing Australia.

Cramsie proved he is the man to beat this season. After taking out the Dbah Pro, the former Sunshine Coast resident repeated the feat at Kiama Beach, his home break.

"I'm winning the Tour at the moment, so I think there's a bit of pressure on me. But it is all about the fun; everyone gets along, so it's going to be great," explained Lachlan Cramsie.

Australia's pro bodyboarding tour will now travel to South Australia for the Knights Pro, the penultimate stop of the ABA Tour.
