2010 IBA Búzios: sunny rolos

Day one at the Buzios Pro in Brazil saw some heats but only trials on men and woman's event.

Round 1 and 2 in male event and first round on female were contested. With 1-2 feet waves the competitors started the show, hosted in Geribá Beach.

Neymara Carvalho and Naara Carolyne steal the show in Buzios. Neymara had some small difficulties in her heat but after two good waves she progressed in second place.

"My ankle hurts a little bit but this is not a problem. It´s always good to have advanced in first heat", said Neymara.

The Mens opening rounds also kicked off but its only on Friday or Saturday that the Top 16 will hit the water. First and second rounds were completed today and tomorrow some good riders will be on show.

The 2x World Champion Damian King and Jared Houston (Sth Africa) will compete tomorrow.
