The Teahupoo Tahiti Challenge is the second stop on the 2017 APB World Tour. The 4-Star event will likely produce changes in the overall rankings.

Is Jeff Hubbard embarking on a solo mission to conquer his fourth world bodyboarding title? Can Ben Player bring the trophy to Australia four years later?

Can Ian Campbell and Alex Uranga fight till the end for a maiden world title? How will Socrates Santana adapt to his rookie year in the Men's division?

One thing is certain: Teahupoo is the right place to answer some of these questions. The mother of all waves is ready to welcome the world's best bodyboarders from April 22 to May 2, 2017.

Last year, Jeff Hubbard defeated Cédric Estall in the final but, this time, inspired by the local's performance, the Tahitians will definitely step up their game.

Hopefully, Teahupoo will live up to the expectation of the fans, who are expecting deep, blue barrels, huge airs, and clean carves as punctuation marks.

The 2017 Teahupoo Tahiti Challenge Trials will feature 16 international riders and 16 Tahitian bodyboarders. The top eight athletes will earn a ticket to the main event.
