Game Description
Play "Space Invaders," the classic arcade video game released in 1978 by the Japanese company Taito.
In the game, the player controls a small spaceship at the bottom of the screen and must shoot down rows of alien invaders that move left and right and gradually descend toward the player.
The player's spaceship can move horizontally across the screen but cannot move vertically and can only fire one shot at a time.
The aliens move faster and faster as they get closer to the player, and the player must dodge their shots while trying to take them out before they reach the bottom of the screen.
The game ends if the player's spaceship is hit by an alien shot or if the aliens reach the bottom of the screen.
The goal is to achieve the highest score possible by shooting down as many aliens as possible.
Space Invaders was one of the earliest and most influential video games, helping to establish the video game industry and inspiring numerous other games in the decades that followed.
