The Bali Race Kiteboarding Championship is being held from the 30th May to the 29th August, with 14 events being held over the course of the three month event which will decide the eventual champion.

The events will be planned and held in accordance with the tides and wind speeds. Each race will have a maximum of three competitors.

This area of the world is one of the best locations for kiteboarding and many people make the trip each year to take part in the numerous water sports on offer in the region. Spectators and beginners can make use of one of the local schools to take some lessons and learn more about the sport.

The event is expected to draw a lot of visitors, both competitors and spectators, as the area is popular with water sports enthusiasts.

The area has excellent public transport links, with regular buses and taxis, although many of the hotels are within walking distance of the beaches, so transport will not be an issue for most people, though if you wish to explore further afield then public transport will be useful.

Brad Spencer, Annissa Flynn, and Daniel Tarapchak have taken out the 2018 World Flowboarding Championships, in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
