Rimas Kinka has set a new Guinness Book of World Record for the Longest Nonstop Kitesurfing Distance sailed.
The kiteboarder from Florida sailed 282.1 stand miles for 34 hours, 41 minutes and 27 seconds and improved his previous Guinness World Record by 52,37 miles.
Kinka kicked off his challenge at Jacksonville, in Florida and finished his long kitesurfing journey near Palm Beach.
The Guinness Book of World Records' rules say that Rimas Kinka could do pit stops for changing kites and boards. During these stops, the kiteboard can't leave the beach or take off his GPS devices.
The new record for the Longest Nonstop Kitesurfing Distance is set, but the coin has two faces. One thing is the distance between two points and another one is the distance sailed in laps.
