Kelly Slater, and his big wave companion, Raimana Van Bastolaer, have recently completed principal photography for "The Ultimate Wave Tahiti" 3D, and the first incredible images taken behind the scenes are in.

"The Ultimate Wave Tahiti" 3D was filmed in Tahiti using newly developed camera equipment that brings audiences into the heart of giant waves, capturing the energy and sounds familiar only to a handful of surfing's best.

From astounding 3D surfing action to the chaos of ocean storms, the film leads audiences on a quest to understand one of this planet's most intriguing and dramatic phenomena.
