American actress and former model Cameron Diaz is a passionate and frequent surfer.

She was seen surfing on many occasions, one of which alongside world champion Kelly Slater, in Hawaii, in 2007.

Diaz was born on August 30th, 1972, in San Diego, California, and started her career as a model at the age of 16.

Her first film experience was in the female leading role in "The Mask", in 1994, which led her to stardom.

After the movie's success, the young actress devoted herself to independent movies and later returned to studio productions with high profile films like "My Best Friend's Wedding" and "There's Something about Mary", for which she is best known.

Cameron Diaz won the New York Film Critics' Best Lead Actress Award for her role in "There's Something About Mary", and was also nominated to four Golden Globe Awards and one BAFTA Award.
