Nine-time ASP World Champion, Kelly Slater, 38 years, will quit surfing after the 2010 Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach, in Australia.

The surfing legend from Cocoa Beach, Florida, USA, has decided to dedicate his full-time schedule to professional golfing.

Kelly Slater is a very well known VIP in the world's top golf greens and has been training alongside with PGA Tour professional golfers.

The pro surfer has told SurferToday.com that he plans to move to Algarve, Portugal, where there are plenty of paparazzi-free world class golf camps.
