Do Your Part: surfers need to protect and defend the world's oceans and beaches

Surf & Comics are back with a new and very important message.

"Do Your Part" is a comic about the plastic pollution that is slowly but steadily invading our oceans and killing marine life.

Ines Gonzalez and Maxi Gonzalez wrote the colorful and informative artwork, and the design is by Xavier Tarrega.

"The plastic that accumulates in our oceans and on our beaches has become a global crisis," the Spanish team behind notes.

"Thousands of birds and marine turtles, seals and other marine mammals die every year after ingesting plastic or becoming entangled in it."

"Microplastics are getting into the food chain. If we, as surfers, help to clean our beaches we will contribute dramatically to the improvement and conservation of our beaches."

Surf & Comics have also produced a motion comic version of the original cartoon strips. It's available on YouTube. Enjoy and act today.
